The 10 Products I Buy Again and Again
There are plenty of products I like.
Then there are the ones I never want to be without.
When these go on sale, I don’t spend time wondering if I should buy them. I already know the answer.
I simply restock.
Sometimes it’s another white Trendy Queen tee because I know I’ll eventually wear one out. Sometimes it’s another bottle of EltaMD before I’ve even finished the one I’m using. Other times it’s picking up another Turkish towel because I know it’ll get used.
I’ve learned that if I reach for something constantly, I’ll eventually need another one. I’d rather buy it when it’s on sale than wait until I have to replace it.
These are the ten products that have earned that kind of trust.
If I catch EltaMD on sale, I’m probably ordering another bottle—even if I’m not quite out yet.
It’s my everyday sunscreen because it disappears under makeup, feels lightweight, and just works. Instead of experimenting with something new every summer, I keep coming back to this one.
It’s also the sunscreen you’ll find in My Beach Sunscreen Bag, because I don’t head to the coast without it.
2. Kopari Sunglaze Sheer Body Mist SPF
This is one of those products that makes summer feel like summer.
I love the subtle glow, the lightweight SPF, and how easy it is to throw into a beach bag. When it goes on sale, I usually grab another bottle because I know it’ll get used before the season is over.
I’ve stopped counting how many of these I own.
White. Black. Pink. Navy.
They’re the tees I reach for when I want to get dressed without overthinking it. They wash well, travel beautifully, and somehow look much more expensive than they are.
When my favorite colors go on sale, I usually buy another because I know they’ll earn their keep.
They’re also exactly the kind of wardrobe staple I talked about in The Qualities Every Piece in My Closet Has Earned.
4. CRZ Yoga Ribbed Cropped Tank
This tank quietly became one of the hardest-working pieces in my closet.
I wear it under SPF shirts, with shorts, on boat days, while traveling—you’ll spot it throughout several of my Golf Cart Coastal Edition outfits.
It’s comfortable enough that I forget I’m wearing it, but polished enough that it always looks put together.
These have probably appeared on Looks More Expensive more than any other pair of leggings.
They’re the pair I trust for travel days because I know they’ll still look good after hours in the airport.
That’s exactly why they’ve become part of my airport outfit formula, and you’ll see them again in The Airport Outfit Mistakes I Stopped Making.
These are exactly the kind of purchase I love finding.
They’re soft, timeless, and make even a simple pair of jeans feel a little more elevated.
I own them in the neutral colors I wear most because they’re the pieces I know I’ll keep reaching for year after year.
This charger has rescued me in airports more times than I can count.
It never leaves my carry-on because eventually every travel day turns into a long travel day.
It’s also one of the essentials that earned a permanent spot on The Travel Checklist I Never Pack Without.
I have one pair of these in every bag.
Flights. Conference calls. Walking around the historic district. Writing blog posts at the local hotel bar.
I don’t pack them anymore because they never get unpacked.
If you’ve spent any time reading my Golf Cart Coastal Edition posts, you’ve probably noticed this tumbler makes an appearance almost every week.
Whether I’m heading to the beach, working from home, or taking the golf cart downtown, it’s usually right beside me.
If I ever needed another one, I wouldn’t hesitate.
These replaced bulky beach towels years ago, and I haven’t looked back.
They dry quickly, pack small, and always seem to end up coming with me whether I’m headed to the beach, the boat, or traveling.
When I find another color I love, I’m usually tempted to pick it up because I know it’ll get used.
Why These Keep Making the List
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that buying fewer things doesn’t mean buying less.
It means buying things that earn a permanent place in your life.
I still enjoy finding new products—that’s part of the fun of building Looks More Expensive—but these ten have already proven themselves.
They’re the products I don’t wait to replace.
They’re the products I buy before I need them because I already know they’ll get used.
To me, that’s the best compliment I can give anything.
It has earned a permanent spot in my closet, my carry-on, or my home. -LME
