Sioux Falls Airport Outfit: Comfortable, Chic & Summer-Ready

For warm-weather travel days, this is exactly the kind of outfit formula I keep reaching for.

It was warm at home — and over 80 degrees once I landed in Sioux Falls — so I wanted something lightweight and comfortable that still felt polished enough for the airport. This ended up being one of those outfits that felt effortless from the moment I left for the airport to the moment I arrived.

The foundation of the look was the Anatomie Allie Travel Pant in atomic red. I also own these in black, but the red felt especially fun for summer travel while still looking sleek paired with black accessories and the blazer.

They’re made from 94% Polyamide and 6% Elastane, which gives them that signature lightweight stretch Anatomie is known for. The fabric is wrinkle-resistant, breathable, and incredibly comfortable for long travel days — the kind of pants that somehow still look polished even after hours in the airport.

To keep the outfit feeling lighter and more summery, I paired them with a white v-neck tee from Trendy Queen. I specifically chose the v-neck version because it felt a little more relaxed and warm-weather friendly than a classic crewneck.

The Athleta MVP Blazer is what pulled everything together. I love adding one structured layer to airport outfits — it instantly makes even the most comfortable pieces feel more elevated without sacrificing comfort. The relaxed fit keeps it easy to travel in, but it still gives the entire look shape and polish.

And of course, the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 sneakers tied everything together perfectly. The black and red stripes echoed the rest of the outfit without feeling overly coordinated, and they’re genuinely comfortable enough for long airport walks and travel days.

I also carried my TUMI Valetta tote along with my Samsonite 20” carry-on — a combination I keep reaching for because it feels streamlined, functional, and polished all at once.
