The Hot Weather Errands Outfit I Keep Repeating

Hot, humid days are when I’m most tempted to throw on something random and call it a day — but I’ve realized I actually feel better when I’m comfortable and a little more put together.

Lately, this has been the outfit I keep reaching for when I’m running errands, grabbing coffee, or heading out for casual lunch plans.

The SPANXshape™ Bodyline Skort is what makes the whole outfit work. It’s lightweight and breathable, but the built-in shorts make it infinitely more practical than a regular skirt on hot days. I don’t have to think about layering something underneath for modesty, and most importantly: no chafing. The structure also keeps the outfit looking polished instead of overly athletic.

I’ve loved Allbirds since they first launched — fun fact: one of the founders actually played on the professional soccer team in my city before starting the company. They’re lightweight, ridiculously comfortable, and one of my favorite things about them is that they’re washable. Real-life shoes that can survive real-life messes always feel worth it to me.

This is basically my favorite kind of summer outfit formula: comfortable enough for real life, polished enough that I still feel like myself. -LME
