Friday Dinner by the Water | Golf Cart Coastal Edition
Some of my favorite dinners aren’t the expensive ones.
They’re the easy ones.
A wrap sandwich. A waterfront view. Good company. A golf cart ride home.
This Friday called for comfortable clothes and an easy dinner by the water. I wore my pink Halara high-waisted shorts, a simple white V-neck tank, my Onitsuka Tiger slip-ons, and grabbed my Marc Jacobs wristlet before heading out.
The shorts were perfect for a warm coastal evening. Comfortable enough for the golf cart ride, but still polished enough that I didn’t feel underdressed once we sat down for dinner. The tank kept things simple, and the Onitsukas continue to be one of my favorite shoes for nights like this. Comfortable, easy to walk in, and they work with almost everything.
Dinner was at Finz overlooking the marina. Nothing fancy—just a wrap sandwich, fries, and a waterfront view.
As we sat watching the boats come and go, I had one of those moments where I looked around and thought:
I still can’t believe I live here now.
A few years ago, I never would have imagined that a golf cart ride to dinner would be a normal Friday evening.
That’s one of the things I love most about coastal living. The best nights usually aren’t the ones that require reservations or elaborate plans.
They’re the simple ones.
Good people.
Salty air.
Simple dinners.
Perfect Friday vibes. -LME
